Customs received the highest rating compared to all other Institutions according to the survey of the Foreign Investors Association of Albania (FIAA) "Business Environment in 2023

Foreign Investors Association of Albania (FIAA) published yesterday the survey with its members "Business Environment in Albania 2023". According to the evaluation of the foreign investors in Albania, the Customs Administration received the highest rating compared to all other Institutions, 75 out of 100 points marking the highest performance.

According to the official announcement of FIAA, "in the assessment of the relations between the foreign investors and the Albanian Institutions, a proactive business climate has been noted. Relations with Institutions such as the Customs Administration, the Local Government, the Public Procurement System have scored over 70 points on the performance scale, receiving the highest rating in this report”.

According to the "Doing Business in Albania 2023" survey, the foreign investors were asked how they evaluate the relations with the Customs Administration and the results show that Customs has improved the ranking by 3 points from 2022 (72/100) and it has the highest rating and record for 2023 (75/100) among all the other Institutions.

The Customs Administration, appreciating the results of the survey, remains engaged in its Mission to ensure transparent Customs procedures through increasing of the cooperation with other Institutions and the private sector in order to accomplish the revenues in favor of the State Budget, keeping the right balance between the facilitation of Customs procedures and its controls.
