13th Meeting of the Council of SELEC
The General Director of Albanian Customs took part in the 13th Meeting of the Council of SELEC in Bucharest, Romania. At this meeting they were invited representatives of the highest levels of Police and Customs, SELEC Member States, Members of the Council and delegates from SELEC Partners.
SELEC Director General, Mr. Toni JAKIMOVSKI, presented the achievements and activities of SELEC for the years 2011-2016, as well as the main objectives for the future. During the presentation of the achievements and operational activities came to the fore the importance of cooperation in the area of information exchange and joint investigations on one hand and on the other the key challenges and objectives for the future in order to prevent and reduce criminal phenomena.
During her stay in Romania, General Director of Albanian Customs, Mrs. IKONOMI, held several bilateral meetings with senior officials of Regional Customs Administrations by sharing opinions on further strengthening the relations between Customs Administrations, particularly in the area of information exchange.
