Approved exporter

An approved exporter is an exporter who, under certain conditions, has been permitted by the Customs Authorities to make their own proof of origin through Invoice Declarations regardless of the value.

The customs authorities may grant this status to the exporter, but they may also withdrawthis status if the exporter misuses the authorization.

The procedure for granting the status "Approved Exporter" is determined by the Albanian customs authorities on the basis of the attached Regulation. The Exporters requiring to be provided with this status must complete the Application Form.

Also, preferential origin rules are found in the text of each Free Trade Agreement, in the Protocol "On the Definition of the Concept of Originating Products and Methods of Administrative Cooperation”.

The application to obtain the status of Approved Exporter from 01.07.2021 is done online through the Government portal e-Albania.
