Project “Mobility on the Ionian Coast /COMOBILION” financed by the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme “Greece-Albania 2014-2020”.

In November 2018 is signed the Partnership Agreement for this Project with a total cost of 7,2 Meuro.
COMOBILON includes 2 Sub-Projects:
- Sub-Project 1: Igumenice – Mavromat (Qafe Bote) Highway of length ~20km and width 11 m and indicative budget ~4,8 Meuro; (that will be implemented by the representatives of Egnatia Odos SA);
- Sub-Project 2: Construction, re-construction, Rehabilitation of BCP Qafë – Botë with an indicative budget ~2,3 Meuro. (that will be implemented by representatives of the Albanian Institutions: Directorate General of Police and Directorate General of Customs ).
The Albanian beneficiary Institutions will carry out the following activities:
1) Elaboration of detailed Works Design for Qafe Bota BCP; Works for Construction, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of the current BCP of “Qafe-Bota” and Supervision services will be realised by the Directorate General of Police;
2) Purchase of necessary equipment for the BCP Qafe-Bote (4 contracts) for Furniture / office equipment, IT equipment, control equipment and service vehicles (for both beneficiaries Police and Customs) - will be realised by the Directorate General of Customs.
According to the Procurement Plan implementation of this Project has stared in 2019.
