Endangered wild fauna and flora (CITES)

It is prohibited:

• possessing and keeping under control for commercial purposes of the kinds listed in the Annexes;
• trading, display and offering for sale or disclosure to the public of the kinds which are imported listed in the Annexes;
• international trade of the kinds listed in the Annexes by means and ways that do not guarantee their proper health handling.

The export, import and re-export of each individual of the species included in the Annexes and in the domestic list is only carried out after the natural or legal person is provided with the respective permission by the Managing Authority, which he submits to the Customs Authorities.

Attention!

If you act in violation of Law No 9867, dated 31.01.2008 “On rules and procedures for international trade of endangered species of flora and fauna”and its implementing provisions and when your actions do not constitute a criminal offense, then you are responsible for an administrative one.
